We aim to provide a safe and secure environment for all residents and we have equipment and procedures in place to facilitate this. However, it is equally important that all Paragon residents take their obligations to each other seriously and assist staff by:
- not infringing, or seeking to avoid, security measures
- reporting any concerns as soon as possible.
Key and swipe card
When you come to live at Paragon you will be issued with a swipe card that allows you to gain access to the main entrance and your particular block. You will also be issued with a key that opens your flat door and individual room door only. Always lock both of these doors behind you.
You should never try to force doors open as this could damage the magnetic locks, making the door less secure.
Keep your key and swipe card with you at all times. If you lose your key or swipe card, or suspect that they have been stolen, please report this to Reception immediately. You should also make sure that any communal entrances are properly secured when you enter or leave the building.
Visitors and intruders
Never allow anyone you do not know to enter any building at Paragon or to come into your flat. Refer unknown visitors to Reception.
If you suspect that someone on the site is an intruder, contact Reception immediately.
CCTV
A CCTV system operates at Paragon for your added security.
