Paragon was developed for Thames Valley University (TVU) and the largest section of our student community comes from there. However, other students are very welcome to apply to stay at Paragon at any time.
During term time most of our accommodation is used by students on long-term lets, but we offer short-term stays throughout the year, particularly during the summer months (late July to mid-September).
We also welcome enquiries from groups looking for accommodation during the summer.
About the accommodation
Accommodation is in single study bedrooms in cluster flats. These flats have six to eight bedrooms, each with an en-suite toilet and shower room, and a large, well-equipped kitchen/dining room.
All accommodation is self-catering and non-smoking and all rooms are strictly for single occupancy only. The minimum age for students staying at Paragon is 18 years old, although we welcome enquiries about group bookings for students aged 14 years old and over with appropriate adult supervision.
Prices
Paragon residents
Students who are already resident at Paragon (and those due to arrive in September) can apply to extend their stay through the summer period. Rates, cleaning arrangements and other services are the same as they are during term time: for details see the page on Student term-time accommodation.
Other guests
For other guests the rate is £30.00 per person per night.
Groups
If you are interested in a group booking please contact the Paragon office for prices. Discounts may be available for groups of more than 20 students staying for two weeks or more.
